WP Hotel is a brand-new, four-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. We were tasked with ensuring their website combined aesthetic design with user-friendly functionality. I had to develop a highly-attractive brand identity that set the business apart from many rival hotels in the area, taking particular care to design the ideal online booking system.
After diligently researching the competition, and the hotel’s environment, we developed a winning website strategy with a strong brand identity that communicated with the international target audience. Search-engine optimisation is a key factor in attracting traffic to a website, so we made sure the website was fully optimised before it was launched. Naturally, our goal was to generate lots of business right away.
The new website met with approving comments from visitors and hotel owners alike. There was a meagre 3 per cent bounce rate upon launch, indicating that 97 per cent of the site’s visitors remained. Since the launch of the website, traffic and bookings have continued to increase each month. It is evident that WP Hotel is now the envy of its competitors!
